Staying near Roma Termini makes sense: the Leonardo Express from Fiumicino, the buses from Ciampino, the fast trains to Florence and Naples, and both metro lines all meet there.
The streets right beside the station are busy, though, day and night. A few minutes further, on the Esquilino side, you're in a residential neighbourhood with markets, bakeries and gardens, and you still roll your suitcase to the platform in about ten minutes.

What Domus Ferruccio is like
Domus Ferruccio is a seven-room guesthouse in a nineteenth-century building. Five rooms are at Via Ferruccio 44; two suites are in our annex, the Conte Residence, around the corner at Via Conte Verde 16.
Every room has a private bathroom, air conditioning, free fibre Wi-Fi and a smart TV. Guests share a kitchen with a fresh-bean coffee machine, a washing machine, and a lift to every floor. The main house also has a shared roof terrace.
It's a guesthouse rather than a hotel, so there's no 24-hour front desk. Your host meets you in person to check you in, and comes by whenever you need anything: just send your arrival time by phone or WhatsApp. If you arrive after 22:00, we arrange a self check-in and you pay the city tax to the host the next morning.
From the airport
From Fiumicino: take the Leonardo Express to Termini, then walk about 10 minutes or ride Line A one stop to Vittorio Emanuele. If you'd rather go door to door, we can book a licensed private driver: €60 for 1–3 passengers (+€15 between 21:30 and 06:30), paid to the driver.
From Ciampino: airport buses run to Termini, and from there it's the same short walk.
